We are in Somerville, New Jersey and across the street is the fireman museum. Today they were demonstrating the old pumper used in the 1800′s. It took many dedicated hours to restore the pumper to it’s original condition and today they were showing how it worked. Here is some video of the pumper working. Next weekend is the town’s 175th birthday for the fire department and there will be a big parade.

We’re getting ready for our trip to the Philippines on Sunday. Our plane is leaving Sunday night via China Airlines. It’s our first time using China Airlines and leaving from JFK in New York. My last day of school was Monday and I’m looking forward to our trip to see the family.

Hi Kevin – have a great trip.

We took China Airlines on our last trip and I was satisfied with them. I don’t really remember any good or bad experience. I don’t think there were any frills but they were on time and that part of the trip was pleasant enough.

We’ll be taking Korean Air this time. I just have to go with the cheapest and hope for the best. Don’t have the extra cash to be choosy. I can’t remember taking Korean Air before, so like you, it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Thanks Randy. China air had the lowest fares when we booked so I’ll see how it goes. Good to hear they were on time. Good to hear you’re going to RP. We’ll be there till August. Will you be there then? I’ll send you a pm.

China air was pretty good. Check the vid of little Kevin sleeping on the plane in his bassinet.
